Governor Abbott Saves Texas from Hostile Takeover by Federal Government

The U.S. military announced they will be conducting a joint U.S. Special Forces training exercise in Texas and other states involving special forces from the Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force.

Thank God that Governor Abbot saw through this deception to the real purpose of this exercise – a hostile takeover of Texas by the federal government.

On Monday, during a public briefing in Bastrop, Texas, Lt. Col. Mark Listoria told a packed crowd of over 200 people about the upcoming Jade Helm 15 military training exercise. He was then called a liar and peppered with questions about whether the government was planning a federal takeover of Texas or implementing Martial Law.

On Tuesday, Governor Abbott jumped into action by asking the Texas State Guard to keep watch on this potential threat to the freedom-loving people of Texas.

“It is important that Texans know their safety, constitutional rights, private property rights and civil liberties will not be infringed upon.”  – Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas

My office has reached out to the Pentagon to inquire about this exercise. We are assured it is a military training exercise. I have no reason to doubt those assurances, but I understand the reason for concern and uncertainty, because when the federal government has not demonstrated itself to be trustworthy in this administration, the natural consequence is that many citizens don’t trust what it is saying.” – Senator Ted Cruz, R-Texas

On Thursday, Defense Secretary Ash Carter, asked during a news conference about the Jade Helm 15 exercise and whether the Pentagon was “planning to overtake Texas,” Carter simply said “no” as people in the packed room laughed.

The state of Texas is home to over 30 military installations with thousands of U.S. Military personnel stationed at them. We don’t see these sites and their troops as a threat to our state. Now that the U.S. Military has an exercise planned, utilizing some of these sites, to train our special forces troops, we see them as a threat. The “best of the best” troops that America has is coming to Texas for training and we don’t trust them.

As a native Texan I am embarrassed.

I would gladly pay to see Governor Abbott and Senator Cruz tell “America’s Best” to their face that “they are seen as a potential threat to the State of Texas’ safety, constitutional rights, private property rights and civil liberties.”

Santa And Guns Come Together For Photo Event At Georgia Firing Range

Santa with gunTHIS IS SOOOO WRONG… It doesn’t matter if they are doing it for a good cause.

Santa Claus is comin’ to town — and he’s packing some serious firepower.

A Georgia firing range is offering free photos with Santa this weekend, with an ad showing what can only be described as a nontraditional Kriss Kringle. But it’s probably not the sunglasses or the Santa hoodie that most stand out. It’s the fact that this Santa is armed to the holly:

It seems Santa won’t actually be the one exercising his Second Amendment rights at the Sandy Springs Gun Club and Range in Sandy Springs on Saturday. It’s the guests, who will be able to hold either an AK-47, AR-15 or FN-SCAR-17 while posing with Father Christmas, according to WSB-TV in Atlanta.

OMG – God Wrote the Constitution

God and Constitution

Former Republican Majority Leader reminds us that God wrote the Constitution

On a talk show on Thursday, former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay explained that a lot of the problems in America can be traced back to the moment when “we allowed our government to become a secular government.”

DeLay added that Americans have forgotten “that God created this nation [and] that He wrote the Constitution, that it’s based on biblical principles,” but he is also optimistic that the tide is beginning to shift, noting that when he was in Congress, he sealed off the rotunda in the Capitol building so that leaders from Congress could come together for three hours to get on their knees and seek the face of God, Right Wing Watch reports.

Hmmmm. Me thinks old Holy Tom has been partaking of the funny weed too much. Everyone knows God did not write the Constitution, the only thing God wrote was the Bible…(not really!)

[ Re-Post from ]

A man worth $15,000,000.00 who lives on a 20,000 acre estate is a “victim”? Really?

Seriously folks, Duck Dynasty is just a TV show. It is designed to showcase these good old Christian southern boys, increase their following, and sell their products. Obviously they have been successful because they are all millionaires now. Like the actors on Big Bang Theory (or any other TV show), they are playing a “ROLE” and they are not those characters in real life. Even worse, these guys a Yuppies and laughing all the way to the bank…

One more time, everybody, all together: “Bull-F***ING-S***”. Phil Robertson is not a victim: he is a multimillionaire with an enormous estate, an entrepreneur and tireless self-promoter who has worked hard to earn his considerable riches. He is a shrewd manipulator of people and this writer would not be at all surprised if this recent blowup turned out to be a huge, carefully scripted publicity stunt. You know, like the whole Duck Dynasty media behemoth.

The beards, the redneck schtick? All scripted and perfectly crafted to sell in the current market. This family made millions of dollars before the TV show, and looked like the friggin’ Romneys:

Yep, yuppies. That was the Robertson clan when they WEREN’T acting. But they are acting now.

And actors play parts. Salesmen sell products. That means, Gentle Reader, that you can’t take anything Phil says at face value. He is ACTING. And he is…
